Chronology
Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to control his inner darkness as he transforms from student to vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater was older than James Remar when Dexter (2006) first aired. It was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Thank you for this series, and most importantly, it will be almost impossible to have a bad finale this time. This is exactly what I personally and I think most Dexter fans needed after the disastrous finale of New Blood. I can’t wait for the next episode, the atmosphere of the original series really hit me, the characters seem like a great choice overall, with the main character Halls voice in the background, it’s almost like playing again. The music and songs are beautiful, the script is also very good for a pilot episode, everything seems to be going in the right direction, but I’m so afraid to be happy, because that’s exactly how we felt with new blood.
